Dr. Ahmed Elzein

Dr. Ahmed Elzein is a UK-trained Consultant Interventional Radiologist, currently practicing in the UAE. He holds a CCT from the UK and a Fellowship in Healthcare Innovation from Oxford University. His expertise spans vascular and non-vascular interventions, including oncological procedures, embolizations, and life-saving emergency treatments.

A leader in healthcare innovation, Dr. Elzein is actively involved in AI-driven automation and predictive analytics to advance diagnostics and interventional radiology. He holds a patented innovation in a novel diagnostic tool, currently undergoing clinical trials, aiming to enhance precision medicine and early disease detection.

Trained at Oxford University Hospitals, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR, UK) and has been involved in multiple clinical trials focused on advancing minimally invasive treatments. He was also a Royal College of Radiologists’ International Travelling Teaching Fellow and a previously elected member of the Royal College of Radiologists International Committee.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Elzein is deeply committed to philanthropic efforts in global radiology. He holds a Diploma in Global Radiology from RAD-AID International and has actively contributed to initiatives aimed at improving radiology access in underserved regions. His efforts have focused on capacity building, training, and technology integration to bridge healthcare disparities worldwide.
