Sinead Crasto

With over a decade of experience in the medical industry and a foundation in luxury retail, Sinead Crasto brings a distinct, cross-sector perspective to the evolving landscape of medical education. Her international career spans Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, allowing her to bring a truly global lens to every initiative she leads.

Her early career was shaped by key roles at global luxury brands such as Jimmy Choo and Burberry, where she developed a sharp eye for consumer insight, premium delivery, and operational excellence. Holding a BA in Buying & Merchandising and an MSc in Luxury Management, Sinead made a bold and purposeful transition into healthcare – applying the precision and innovation of the luxury sector to the medical field.

Her pivot began with the launch of a B2C respiratory device company in Sub-Saharan Africa, focused on enhancing the patient experience through accessible, thoughtfully designed medical products. Since then, she has spent more than ten years building and leading ventures that challenge the status quo of healthcare delivery.

She has extensive experience in the UAE medical device sector, particularly in introducing innovative, user-centric solutions that improve patient outcomes and streamline clinical workflows.

With the founding of SurgED, Sinead brings her expertise full circle – establishing a training institute dedicated to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world surgical practice. Her leadership ensures that SurgED delivers more than just education; it offers immersive, high-impact learning experiences tailored to the needs of doctors, surgeons, and healthcare professionals across the Middle East and Africa.

By blending her cross-industry experience with a commitment to clinical excellence, Sinead aims to shape the future of healthcare education with purpose, innovation, and precision.
